Job Description

  • Possess 5-7 years of Industry experience and has hand on experience in Health & Motor underwriting.
  • Graduate preferably with Insurance certification like Associate from Insurance Institute of India. Managing the underwriting department operationally & report various MIS on a regular basis Execute the Underwriting Process plan as per Top Line & Bottom Line decided by Management. Strong Communication Skill Be able to actively contribute to the underwriting strategy and its implementation & monitoring at regular intervals To contribute in the training of junior underwriters and tele sales representatives etc. Create dialogue on a daily basis with the Ops resource- Insurers and internal team. Create dialogue on a daily basis with the Insurers and internal team and policy servicing managers (Sales Rep), the processed cases including the monitoring of printing & dispatch of policy documents and communication to customers. Monitor the pending cases for want of requirements & their ageing in terms of volumes and value. Ensure actionable into operations/call center/sales deliverables for closure as deemed by the escalation matrix. Monitor and Create dialogue with TPAs in case of Health Proposals on disposal of Health Cards and other issues. Take regular inventory of cases pending requirements, mapping versus ageing and taking appropriate call. Support the call centre with the information desired for query resolution & proposal /policy status by ensuring that every single point is captured in the policy. Ensure all the Policy and Proposal details are captured in ERP and maintained regularly. Will be responsible for tracking industry trends and competition activity and generation of new ideas to keep the team ahead. Sharing the daily/weekly/Monthly report on working and MIS as required by Management.
